Being well physically and mentally is crucial for overall wellness. Regular exercises help us to strengthen our body and we should always include weight bearing exercises and strength training exercises in our routine. These exercises are important to allow for muscle growth and maintainance of our body mass.
Physical imperfections can cause a strain to our mental health. These imperfections that can weigh down on our mind can range from acne scars, pigmentations, excessive body fats, loss of hair etc. Hence, these should be addressed to prevent them from chewing away at our overall wellness.
When we are mentally competent, we are capable of making decisions with regards to who may manage our medical needs, property, and daily affairs. This can be accomplished by completing a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) and submitting it to the ministry @

We are also able to make decisions with regards to our own personal health via a Advance Medical Directive (AMD), where we can stipulate that we do not want extraordinary life support should we be affected by a terminal illness (such as stage 4 brain cancer) AND have lost mental capacity at the same time.
The Advance Medical Directive would hence prevent a situation where there is long drawn treatment in the ICU just to prolong life in a terminally ill patient who cannot be cured. This form is submitted to the ministry @
